Wow, love this! It’s hard to parent and build independent children…sometimes I feel mom shamed for not doing more even if I “know”that my doing less means my kids know their own capabilities more. Sure, their “art” projects at the library storytime may not look at all like the example, but they also weren’t made by me. But also…often I overstep and do too much because my fragile heart just wants my kids to live in a bubble of perfection. Anyway, thanks for this awesome article!
